Designed this adapter to fit these 3 inch diameter puck lights. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JF94TSU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This works well for wall mounting the lamp or for a more minimalist desk design. The opening to turn the lamp on is quite snug though.
