Motorized Spool Winder

As the saying goes, First World Solutions for First World problems! :) haha I really didn't want to hand crank Spool and Spool of filament, and I didn't want to hold my heavy drill for Spool after Spool. So, I spent some money and the afternoon and came up with this contraption! I added a 12VDC Motor($15) and that has a max spin of 60RPM which is good enough for the Winder if you have a few minutes. But remember, it is “Hands Free” :) And because it is DC, I added a Speed Controller/Driver($12) to it. Overall, it cost me about $40 Dollar Bucks because I needed thicker gauge wire. So, overall I am pleased.
