Description
This counter is designed to track life, casts from the command zone for up to two commanders, and commander damage from up to three opponents. Multiple counters can be placed in the center of the table so everyone in the pod can easily see everything being tracked. For each MtG Commander Counter, Print 1 base, 1 cover, 10 dials, and 4 separators (optional). It's better to print the dials and separators with no supports. The base and cover need supports. A resin printer would probably make nicer dials, but the cover and separators have to be filament so they are flexible. Here are the steps: 1- Print everything 2- Remove supports and dig out the words on the bottom of the base if you want to make more than one and stack them. 3- Use a marker on the dial numbers for contrast. (If you have a multi-color printer you can do it that way instead.) 4- Put the first dial on each longer cylinder. Then press a separator on. (It's optional, but better. I used another dial to evenly slide it over. It should be tight.) 5- Put the rest of the dials on the posts (as shown in the picture). 6- Put three dots of superglue on the base where the bottom triangles on the cover will touch. (Don't get glue anywhere near any dial.) 7- Slide the base on, using your fingers to wiggle the dials until it rests in place with the dials poking out the top. Each dial should be able to spin freely. Adjust separators as needed without lifting the cover off the base. 8- If you want to permanently connect more than one counter, glue a connector in the indentations on the cover. I used magnets instead (20x5x2 mm, optional) so they can be taken apart and stacked (after the glue dries). It's a bit of work to assemble, but removes a lot of spin-down dice and other equipment from the table. Enjoy!
