Description
A recreation from scratch of @Hasanen's Multiboard/Underware Koppla power strip brackets , but instead of using push fit Snaps it uses Big Thread screws. I found that due to the weight of the power strip and attached power bricks and plugs the snaps would eventually wear out. After unmounting and remounting once or twice the snaps would not provide enough friction to hold the strip, making the snaps basicalle one-time-use. (To be fair, their were not designed to be mounted under a desk where the pull force is acting upwards on the snap's Z-axis, not downwards on the Y-axis. And I used PLA.) To mount this on a Multiboard, you'll need to print two 9 mm Big Thread, Flat Head, Shank T-Bolts ( link ). 13mm won't work even if you mounted Multiboard using Snaps, but you might get away with using Washers . The screw bolts should provide much more load bearing capacity and hold the power strip in place. The brackets should also last longer without wearing out, thus providing more flexibility when rearranging your Underware layout.
