Description
This is my first draft of a 3dprinted/aluminum extrusion case for the myBar project. I wanted to have something that I could put together and use while I worked out refining the prints and other components. In this version I have used some of the prints from the original myBar project. This was to hopefully make it easier for those that may already have a myBar to be able to make this and convert their case. I intended to use all of the original printed parts, but I ended up modeling some of my own parts. I am thinking of going back and creating a fully printed version of this case, but again this was just a first draft. I think all of the tolerances and hole placements are correct, but again first draft. Also my first time fully designing in Fusion so please be kind to any errors. If I do go through and make a 3d printed version I will update here to let folks know. Any thoughts or ideas for what you would want to see in a fully 3d printed version is welcomed! I am looking for inspiration XD Kindly, Trenton Build Instructions To make this case you will need the following items: myBar kit (either from you full kit or just the pumps kit. See mybar.io for more information). various m5 bolts and drop-nuts. These I had from other projects but you could easily get these online or at your local hardware store. 2020 aluminum extrusions (approximately 250-300mm in length). Again I used what I had on hand. As long as you have long enough extrusion to mount the motor mounts, you should be fine. Printed connections and mounts (see below) Printed Parts 1x Control Board Mount 1x Cup Censor Mount 2x Front Cap 2x Rear Cap 1x Pipe Spout 1x Pipe and Power Back 3x Motor Mount Printed Parts Reused from myBar 1x bar_sensor_holder 1x bar_power_holder 1x bar_drip_tray (if you want to use just a flat piece of wood or acrylic where the drink goes that would work too) Printed 2020 Connectors 3x System20_Bracket_24-40mm_Single_Sided_Left 3x System20_Bracket_24-40mm_Single_Sided_Right Printed 2020 Brackets (I was not able to find it here on printable, but I have included the Thingiverse link) 4x 2020_uniform_T_shape_with_half_support Customizable Plate Bracket for Aluminium Extrusion Profiles (Misumi 2020, 2040, 4040, ...) by mightynozzle Once you have all of the necessary prints use the CAD picture to assist with assembly. I found it helpful to put together the bottom extrusions and Front/Back caps first. Then do the same for the top. Using the extrusions connect the back side of the case and then use the remaining extrusions to help tighten case together. I then mounted the motors, front spout, and the censor. That hardest part was attaching all of the tubing from the myBar. I found that take off the Pipe and Power part to be easier for pipe assembly, and once all the parts are in, then attach to frame.
AI Analysis: This is a mechanical part designed as a case for holding drinks. It features a sturdy frame with green and orange accents, and is constructed from metal and plastic components. The case includes a transparent section for viewing the contents and is equipped with a mechanism that allows for the insertion and removal of items. It is intended for use in a bar setting to store and display beverages.
