Description
Barrel assembly and grenade launcher tube extensions to better match the movie prop. The barrel assembly requires the original Nerf parts to be cut off. The grenade launcher extension glues the beveled side right on top of the existing Nerf piece. I arranged the three barrel assembly pieces without glue to get the placement right, then glued on the support bracket, then the outer tube, and then inserted the barrel and glued the back end where it meets with the cut Nerf barrel. Lastly, I glued the small panel piece between the vents and the support bracket. The long panel is provided for those who remove the orange Nerf dart tube, which makes it non-fireable. While the M41A was disassembled for modification and painting, I glued the long panel to the shelf underneath the vents on one half, then glued the other side during reassembly. This piece covers the otherwise visible interior pieces and just finishes it off nicely. If you intend to use yours for cosplay or anything else in public view, be sure to follow whatever legal guidelines may apply where you are. Have fun, but stay safe. https://www.cpsc.gov/FAQ/Toy-Look-Alike-and-Imitation-Firearms
