Description

Just took delivery of my new Steamdeck and decided to design a storage tray to easily store your USB-C charger and MicroSD cards in the cavity on the bottom of the official Steamdeck carrying case that comes with the Steamdeck. The design accommodates the USA USB-C Adapter and I've also included four slots to allow you to store four additional MicroSD cards. This Steamdeck storage track was designed on my MacBook Pro using Sharpr3D and printed on a Prusa Mini+ at 0.2 mm QUALITY setting. This model takes my Mini+ just over four hours to print. No supports or brim are required. Let me know what you think EDIT: I just added the Version 3.0 STL files. This version is for all those people who had issues getting the cable into the box on Version 2.0. Version 3.0 is more of a simple box with a separate sliding lid. You have to download and print both files. The lid also provides the additional benefit of keeping the Micro SD cards safety in place. EDIT 2: Created an XL sized lid for those people who are having issues getting the cable wound low enough for the lid to close. The new lid is taller and provides a little extra space for the cable. This XL lid also fits the body of the tray with no changes. You need to print the XL upside down to prevent having overhangs. IF YOU ARE HAVING ISSUES GETTING THE CABLE TO FIT: Trick to getting the cable to fit is to wind a few loops into the storage area, then place the adapter box in with the rubber thing (that sticks out of the box) on top of those two loops. Then wind the rest of the cable on top of the rubber thing. The lid should then slide on easy.
