Description

I've had a few of the nut covers from the rear suspension on my Chief Darkhorse "borrowed" and wanted a printed solution so I could maintain a matching look across the motorcycle, so I designed this cover to replace the missing originals. Dimensionally they're a match with the original but visual cosmetics will depend on your filament. I designed a PLA version first (no TPU at the time) but then decided I wanted the flexibility of TPU and sorted that out as well. The PLA design has a wider clearance for the flange so it will "click" on and the TPU design has a more rounded internal collar to take advantage of the flexibility of TPU for a snug fit. A 'fitting cap' is included in the .3mf for the PLA cap and can be used to protect the cap while you knock it on for the click fit. Both are designed to fit over the flanged M12 Nut with an 18mm head width that is used on the rear suspension of the Chief. You'll get a much better fit from TPU, but the semi matte look you get from PLA is nice. Both versions work well. There's no reason these wouldn't work on any flanged M12.
