Description
Print the same as you normally would for the camera body and lid. The ground glass back will accept 2mm glass and be flush though you could likely use slightly thicker glass as the retaining clips should flex a bit. For light sealing use camera grade light seal foam on the inlet of the v8 body where the dark slide fits in to between the body and the lid. I placed foam on the ends first and then the sides. The foam should be thick enough that they would also seal together when the slide is completely removed. You may also need to tweezer in some extra bits of foam if there are any small gaps between the 4 pieces of foam. Once foam is in then install the slide before putting on the lid. The lid will keep the foam from getting pulled out and the tension from the foam will also hold the dark slide in place while taking photos. Do not remove the dark slide completely once installed. Make a marking on the back of the dark slide to identify where to stop pulling to ensure the slide is pulled up high enough to not block the film. Ensure your film is tight to keep it against the film plane and match the ground glass. M3 inserts and hardware required.
