Open-Air Desktop Speaker Kit for 8cm Units V3 (Horn Edition)

This is Version 3 of the Open-Air Desktop Speaker, featuring a compact Acoustic Horn . The acoustic horn is designed to concentrate singing vocals and radio conversations. (Check out Version 1 and Version 2 here!) ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: This project uses a unique technique where the grille's honeycomb mesh is generated using Bambu Studio's Infill settings . Therefore, it will not print correctly with other slicers . Please use the provided .3mf file and Bambu Studio for the best results. Quick Compatibility Test If you are unsure if your speaker unit will fit, print only the brackets from Plate 4 first. Place your unit on the printed brackets to check if the M4 screw holes align properly. This allows you to verify compatibility before printing the rest of the parts. Compatible Units Tested with: FOSTEX FE83NV2 (Current model - Highly Recommended) FOSTEX FE87 (Legacy model) Note: It should be compatible with most standard 8cm units as long as the mounting hole patterns align. Bill of Materials (BOM) Screws: 4x M4 x 30mm (Main assembly), 2x M4 x 8mm (Stand pivot) Nuts: * 6x Standard M4 nuts Print Settings Support: REQUIRED for Plate 1 (Horn Main Frame) only. Other parts do not require support. Note: The .3mf file is pre-configured with the correct infill and support settings. Specifically, Plate 2 is configured with layer-based color settings (White/Gray) for the logo. Plate List (All-in-One .3mf) Plate 1 (Horn Main Frame & Spacers): The acoustic horn enclosure (Support required). Includes 4x Mounting Spacers to be placed between the horn and the mesh grille to adjust the clearance. Plate 2 (Crystal Voice Grille): Special version featuring the "CRYSTAL VOICE" logo. Plate 3 (Plain Grille): Clean honeycomb grille without the logo. Plate 4 (Stand): Desktop Stand and pivot brackets. (Identical to V1 and V2) Note for Version 1 & 2 Users: The Stand parts in Plate 4 are identical to the original V1 and V2. If you already have the stand, you only need to print the new Horn Main Frame (Plate 1) and your choice of grille (Plate 2 or 3) to upgrade to the Crystal Voice Edition !
