Description
I really enjoyed building the excellent OpenRC F1 by Daniel Noree and have started to modify parts to make the driving experience a bit better. This design is compatible with the original chassis and 2017 update (narrow) to give a bit of lateral and longitudinal flex. The added flex helps keep the rear planted during acceleration and cornering. There are a few dampers for you to adjust to your particular driving surface and style. Aside from the m3 screws and nuts, everything is 3D printed. Video of it in action: https://youtube.com/shorts/7E0xtqP4UeM?feature=share Updated parts include: Rear motor cover Rear motor mount Rear axle carrier Center Chassis Various t-plate motor mounts Various dampers STEP files are also included for any further customization by the community.
