Description
This is the second iteration of my OpenRGB Desk Fan project. Using an Arduino Pro Micro and some custom circuitry, this project turns any RGB PC fan into a desk fan that keeps you cool while syncing with your RGB setup. This time I focused on using a 140mm fan and only the USB-powered variant. I really wanted to resolve some issues with the original design, make the base look nicer, and put more room in the base for bundling up loose wires. Notable improvements over V1: Base has clean, rounded edges PCB mount centered and extra hole from unused 12V port removed Support blocks under screw holes for mounting the fan stand to the base, as the screws could pull out on V1 easily Support for both 120mm and 140mm fans The electronics are the same as from V1, see https://gitlab.com/CalcProgrammer1/OpenRGBDeskFan for more info.
