Description
this is a customizable storage box for your IEM + DAC. I didn't like the soft storage bag that came with most IEMs and I also didn't like how they would never have enough room to effectively store a DAC with them. this allows you generate your own storage box to perfectly fit whatever DAC you own. just open the SCAD. enter the dimensions of your DAC and generate a box. there are enough customization options to fit just about any DAC that's atleast somewhat rectangular you will need to download the original library that bulbasaur0 made here: https://www.printables.com/model/637028-rugged-storage-box-parametric-and-customizable as well as the rounded cube library here: https://danielupshaw.com/openscad-rounded-corners the library that bulbasaur0 made is capable of generating latches but I prefer zx82net's frog box cam latches so go over to his file and download the latch and cam: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4838803 or just use bulbasaur0's library to generate latches besides the printed box and latches you'll need: 6x M3 screws (approx 15mm long) (optionally, but highly recommended): some soft foam to line the IEM compartment along with double sided tape to stick it in place. the foam in the picture is from the storage box of a flashlight I bought I'm not sure where you can get it separately for a decent price. I'd recommend just salvaging foam from something if you can't find soft foam anywhere this is probably the most reasonably priced foam I could find: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806662904166.html the DAC in the picture is the FiiO BTR17. I printed that box in Flashforge ASA Burnt Titanium with black ASA latches
