Home NAS based on Orange Pi 4 Pro (Allwinner A733) + ASM1166 (m2/2280) Parts: Orange Pi 4 Pro (Allwinner A733) Micro SD Card 16+ GB Note: Bootloader/kernel/initrd can be installed to the internal 16MB SPI Flash ASM1166 (m.2) PCIe to 6xSATA-III bridge. (PCIe 3.0 x2, but works in x1 mode) 6x SATA cables with power (see photos for reference) 8010 5v Fan Optional Components: GM12864-01A (128x64 monochrome display) 2.1x5.5mm Female Jack (if you use more than 2 disks - connect external power source! Do not use Type-C port!) For PWM fan control : 2N2222 transistor, 1N4007 diode, 1kOhm resistor Recommended PSU : Direct 5V : High-quality 5V 10A+ power supply. External : 12V or 19V (Laptop) adapter + Step-down (Buck) converter. Ensure the converter can handle at least 10A continuous output to avoid voltage drops during HDD spin-up. Storage : Up to 6x 2.5" SATA HDDs/SSDs. Supports software RAID (mdadm, LVM, or ZFS). Other : 16x M3 Brass Heat-set Insert Nuts (M3xL4xOD4.2) 16x M3x5 (or M3x8) screws 4x M5x10 Fan screws Note : The official documentation labels pin PK25, but it is actually PL2!
