Original XBOX ITX-PC with full-size GPU by SON4

Disclaimer I am not a professional designer, and these parts are far from perfect. They are simply good enough for my own build, so I do not plan to keep refining them. That said, I would be happy if someone likes the concept and maybe wants to improve or remix it further. Project idea I wanted to build an ITX PC inside an original Xbox shell. Most Xbox PC builds I found either do not support a full-size GPU or require a lot of visible cutouts in the console. My goal was to keep the Xbox looking as original as possible at first glance. With this setup, it is possible to install a standard ITX motherboard and a dual-slot graphics card up to around 195 mm in length. Main mounting parts The internal structure is based on 3 main printed parts, which makes printing easier: ITXBaseXT60 This is the largest plate. It provides 2 mounting points for the motherboard and also includes an XT60 holder for power input. ITXBaseLeft This part adds another motherboard mounting point. LAN_DP This includes the final motherboard mounting point and also provides mounting options for a LAN port and a DisplayPort connector. Additional parts There are also a few extra parts included: DVD delete bracket Reduced to the absolute minimum to create as much room as possible for the graphics card. 70 x15 mm fan bracket A simple holder for the case fan. USB port adapters The downloads also include USB port adapters for the original Xbox controller ports. This design was originally created by Matty Suds . His ITX Box design was also the basis for a large part of my project, so many thanks to him. Power supply The PSU is external. At the moment, I am using a Mean Well GST360A12-C8P together with an adapter box to XT60. With a smaller graphics card, I think it might also be possible to fit a Mean Well LOP-300 inside. Internally, I use a Chinese Pico PSU with a 12AWG XT60 input. I cut that off and connected everything with Wago connectors. I am planning to connect the PCIe 8-pin there as well, so the GPU can be powered directly from the Mean Well PSU, but so far the Chinese board has been working very well. Cooling The fan is a 70 x 70 x 15 mm model. Because I am using the LAN port, space is limited. If you skip the LAN port, it should be possible to use a thicker fan instead. The fan is set up as an intake, which gave me the best temperatures together with my CPU cooler. I am using an AXP90 X36. Taller coolers are not recommended. Video output Video output runs through DisplayPort. I use an external adapter for multi-monitor support. USB layout Left USB ports: USB 3.0 Right USB ports: USB 2.0 I had to do it this way because the thicker USB 3.0 cables took up too much space. Power and thermals The CPU runs in 45 W ECO mode and reaches a maximum power draw of around 65 W. The GPU is undervolted and has a power limit, so it reaches a maximum of around 130 W. The system does get loud, but cooling is sufficient. Printing material Print these parts in PETG. PLA is not recommended, because it cannot handle the temperatures inside the case.
