Description
I've been using the detach grip as a carrying handle on my Ortlieb Vario bag, so the strap started fraying eventually. I believe mine is an older style, it's at least a few years old and I haven't been able to find an equivalent in the current Ortlieb QL standards. This grip attaches to the round lugs normally used for the backpack harness to provide a solid alternative. Simple print, should be strong enough to handle at least a few kilos, fits a regular adult male hand (width inside: abput 95mm). Mounts and dismounts quickly with a moderate friction grip. Rounded edges, thickness about 8.5mm, for long carrying with heavy load it might still dig into your palm a bit.
