Otto Mecanum: 48mm mecanum wheel servo adaptor

The print in place mecanum wheels were ok, but suffered from the use of PLA for the rollers, which really limited the surfaces that they functioned properly on. I did consider a new self assembly wheel with TPU rollers but discovered that ready built 48mm mecanum wheels were available on Aliexpress. e.g. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005143230636.html 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media these are supplied with an adaptor for tt motors. The new 3d printed adaptor replaces the tt adaptor and is used to mount a servo horn. Fit the horn to the adaptor with a couple of self tapping screws, then fit the adaptor to the servo. Finally push the wheel on to the adaptor. Peformace on hard floor surfaces is a definite improvement.
