Description
I use the Dive Rite rigid Goodman handle and QRM striker with my CX3+ light, but the rigid Delrin mounting plate is rough on my knuckles. I also have very small hands and even on the tightest setting, the Goodman handle is still too loose for me. This attachment allows me to add foam padding to the underside of the mounting plate without gluing it on directly. I don't want to glue padding directly to the plate because it would block the attachment holes, and be difficult to remove cleanly if I want to replace the padding in future. I made this 2.7mm thick attachment layer that screws into the underside of the upper plate, using 2 sets of M3 12mm hex socket head cap screws and nuts. The two little "cone" shapes fit into the countersunk screw holes on the bottom. I then cut and superglued a rectangle of neoprene foam to the 3d printed layer.
