Description

Some of you asked for a way to make the safe lockable. I assume the desire is to secure the contents from children who wouldn't use heavy tools to open the safe. :-) This small extension is simply adhered to the door frame. Afterward, you can lock the safe with a padlock. The height of the frame is 23 mm. The hole has a diameter of 7 mm. Printing information Infill: 10% Layer height: 0.2mm The STL file is correctly aligned on the print bed. Assembly instructions Read the following instructions carefully to avoid the risk of the vault becoming unopenable afterward. Read the few steps once before you glue any parts. The frame consists of three parts that are printed as one single piece and connected by small bridges. This makes correct adhesion easier. The bridges are cut with a sharp knife immediately after gluing. But now, one step at a time: Apply a very small drop of super glue to the areas marked with green symbols. Under no circumstances should you apply it to the area marked with a red symbol. Attach the Padlock frame to the door frame of the vault as shown in the left image. Immediately cut the four bridges with a sharp knife and open the vault. This needs to be done quickly to ensure that the glue doesn't bond the vault door. Now, allow the glue sufficient time to cure on the three parts of the Padlock Frame, one on the inner door frame, and two on the outer. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media I am looking forward to your Makes! :-) If you like this design, feel free to check out my others here .
