Description
Parameters This organizer-case is fully customizeable. You could change the following parameters: Width → inner width of the case Length → inner length of the case Height → inner height of the case-bottom Divsions Length → number of dividers in length Divisions Width → number of dividers in width Hinge Diameter → diameter of the axle for hinges and clips Hinge Tolerance → a little extra to the hinge diameter Top Offset → additional inner height for the top. Total top height can be checked at “top_height” Demo Files The sample STL files I uploaded will print a 120x60x25mm case with 6 compartments and a 2mm steel rods for hinges and clips. I used the back end of rivets as axis. Testblock There is also a testblock in the fusion file. With this you can test your tolerances for the axle without printing the whole model. They should hold thight, without splitting the layers. The holes in the clips and hinges will be automatically bigger by “Hinge Tolerance”, so they can rotate freely. Divisions and Compartments You can add as many divisions as you want in both directions. Or set them to 0, to get a case without compartments. Label There will also be a removeable label generated, that could be written on with a marker. If you don't want this label, then just remove the last two groups from the timeline in the fusion file. That may be needed if your case is very small and the label would be to short.
