Description
📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media I saw a few models on here for printable SKADIS pegboard and I love the idea. However, many of the models were dimensioned wrong for my printer or intended purpose. I decided to make a simple to edit, parametric file for generating whatever SKADIS size you need. You can also export the perimeter lines as a DXF for laser cutting and CNC work using the “Exportable DXF” sketch. OnShape Version (New / Current) Access Here ! I re-built this generator from the ground up in March 2025 to use OnShape instead of Fusion 360. This means you don't have to install any software to configure or resize the model. It's still open source, and you can modify it using OnShape, which you can use for free. I also like OnShape much more than Fusion 360. Everything you need to modify the model is in the upper left here. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media And now that I've re-done it in OnShape, you can change the hole starting pattern! For instance, 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media You can also remix this easily in OnShape by either deriving this in a new document or building right into a new part studio. It has some useful Mate Connectors to properly snap it to where you need it in your document. Fusion 360 Version (Old) Everything you need to edit exists in the Parameters menu . The “favorited” entries are the driving dimensions: Columns Rows SpacingFromSide SpacingFromTop BoardThickness The remainder of the variables like thickness, spacing, and fillet sizes are also named and editable. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media The file also supports uneven numbers of rows/columns! Here is an example of a board with 17 columns x 17 rows. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media If you find this useful, please consider leaving a tip! (Using the coin button at the top) V29 Update (Sep 21 2022): I re-worked the file and added a couple things: The skadis board now exists in a separate component for easier remixing I beveled the outer edge to make it a little more friendly I named some steps for easier parsing There is now a sketch called “Exportable DXF” for laser cutting and CNC work. V32 Update (Sep 23 2022): I did some work in the file to clean up some steps and make measurement more accurate. I made the origin the center of the board, not the upper-left corner. This also subtracts an unnecessary sketch from the file. (no more center-finder sketch) The fillet radius for the corners has been named and now reflects the 9mm fillet that the IKEA production skadis boards have instead of the 10mm fillet from the previous version. V35 Update (Dec 5 2022): Fixed a finicky sketch (Rounded Outer Edge) Showed outer dimensions by default Re-Work using OnShape (March 19th 2025): Since OnShape is a better solution, I re-built this in OnShape from scratch. No installation needed, Added SlotTolerance and Max-Area calculation (January 15th 2026) SlotTolerance allows you to make the slots a little bigger so it's easier to put in accessories. I made the default 0.015mm, meaning the slot will have a new width of 5.03mm. The Max-Area calculation was a major rework. Now you can type in the dimensions of your build area, and it will generate a Skadis board that will fit in that area. Added some presets for common printers
