Description
Parametric table mount This is a remix of 1llia's great Table mount extender model. The original model is a really great idea, but unfortunatelly it did not fit exactly to my needs, so I re-designed it from scratch. You can download and print the original model from here: https://www.printables.com/model/824233-table-mount-extender-clamp The extender part is now parametric, some small adjustment were made on the screw and a new part (extender mount) was added. You can download the parametric Fusion 360 file, and 3 different printable versions: 150 mm with screw 200 mm with screw 250 mm with screw Please note that different version can have different strength and weight capacity, be careful and test if before first use. Update (2024.04.16) I have re-uploaded all model files due to the folllowing changes: Fillet radius inside the frame was modified to 5mm to increase the strength of the model Outside fillet radius was cut to 1mm to have smoother fit to the desk Extender mount insert was tightened Differences compared to the original model: the extender can be freely modified in Fusion 360 according to your needs you can adjust (for details see the attached pitcure): the length of the extender (total length) the length of the mount the height of the mount the height of the frame screw diameter (board mounting screws) countersink diameter of the screw (board mounting screws) two holes were added for easy mounting the board to the model the screw was slightly modified different design 5 mm fillet was added to the neck of the screw to make it more robust added an extender mount to the model for special purposes when you need additional support (like in my case) Adjust the parameters: Import the f3d file in Fusion 360. Click on the Modify menu and select Change Parameters. Material: PETG / ABS / ASA Layer high: 0.2 - 0.28 mm for the main body and 0.2 mm for the screw Infill: at least 15% and honeycomb type (gyroid works as well, tested) Walls: at least 3 Top/Bottom: also at least 3 layers
