Description
Parametric Twisted Rib Plant Pot A fully parametric organic plant pot with diagonal twisted ribs, designed in OpenSCAD. Inspired by modern swirl/tornado-style planters. Included is a ready-to-print STL file as well as the OpenSCAD source so you can configure everything to your own liking. Default Dimensions Top diameter: 300mm Bottom diameter: 220mm Height: 250mm Wall thickness: 3mm All dimensions are fully customizable via OpenSCAD's Customizer — adjust size, number of ribs, twist angle, bulge amount, and more. Print Settings (PLA+, Ender 5 Plus) Layer height: 0.2mm Nozzle: 0.4mm Walls: 3-4 perimeters, 0% infill Print speed: 120mm/s general, 60-70mm/s outer walls Hotend temp: 220°C Bed temp: 60°C Cooling: 100% fan after first few layers Retraction: 0.8mm @ 30mm/s (direct drive) Adhesion: Brim 8-10mm recommended for large prints Printed with Microswiss direct drive, linear rails, running Klipper firmware. Customizable Parameters top_diameter / bottom_diameter — pot size height — total height num_ribs — number of spiral ribs rib_depth — how deep the channels are twist_degrees — total twist from bottom to top (default 180°) bulge_amount / bulge_height — controls the organic bulging shape wall_thickness / bottom_thickness — shell thickness
