Description

I found these hilarious feet models for a PC tower by pacypo and began making some. Then it dawned on me that I recently bought some TPU as I just got a new direct drive Neptune 4 printer (awesome printer BTW, would highly recommend) and my PC could wear proper shoes. I settled on giving my PC some Crocs. I searched far and wide for a decent model of crocs that I could print but most of them were scans that were solid or didn't have enough detail. Surprisingly the other day a model of finger crocs showed up and they looked awesome, I just had to scale them up to fit (and they are in sport mode). Unfortunately, when I printed the actual feet the first time I realized it wouldn't work with my NZXT 510 case as the feet have a bump where the screw goes. Then I found this model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4778496 . I went into prusa slicer and cut it down to be just deep enough to encompass the bump on the bottom of the case. They are printed separately as the different corners of the case use the same NZXT foot but are rotated. Now me and my PC can enjoy the comfort of crocs together at last. I printed the Feet using Rapid-PLA+ and the Crocs using Duramic 3d TPU. Both models need support to print properly. To get the TPU supports off I just grabbed the supports with pliers and did a rolling motion. This pulled the supports off nicely. The bottom of the crocs admittedly looks pretty awful but that doesn't matter since you would see the bottom of them. Once printed the crocs should just slide on. IF YOU ARE USING THE NZXT MODEL: Youll have to get longer screws than the ones in the case already. 6/32 by ½" long worked for me
