Description

Remix of the amazing Pegstr - Pegboard Wizard by mgx for use with pegboards with 4mm holes, 15mm spacing between holes (measured from middle of the holes or 11mm from edge to edge). In my case the board was just 2,5mm thick, but you can customize this easily by setting the variable Board Thickness in the Advanced section of the Customizer. I used this refactored version of the OpenSCAD file by Nick Talavera as a starting point and included all my settings. Download the Pegstr_PegBoardGenerator_Improved.scad and Pegstr_PegBoardGenerator_Improved.txt to one folder, rename Pegstr_PegBoardGenerator_Improved. txt to Pegstr_PegBoardGenerator_Improved. json and OpenSCAD will give you my presets in the customizer. Predefined models I added all of the models generated from my config and more as STL files. The bigger parts come with a version, where all the inner pins are removed ( _less-pins in the filenames). I found it very hard to press into the board, when there were also pins in the middle of the model. Bins/trays for markers, scales, etc Holders for hammers (full rings and as a snap on version with an opening in the front) A - very big - smartphone holder, designed for a Pixel 3 in a big case. The base is open, so you can charge it, while it sits there Clips with 43mm, 47mm and 60mm diameter to hold round objects like spraycans of up to 75mm. (a remix of this model on Thingiverse by Jeffthiem ) Original description Infinite ways to create pegboard holders and bins for tools, parts or display objects. Highlights: One or multiple (m•n matrix) objects per holder Round, square or rectangular with rounded corners Generate various shapes of bins and trays (closed bottom) Chose between stronger or economical, straight or tapered, etc Can be partially open (to click / snap in objects) and angled up or down Note: if you intend to use this for commercial purposes please contact the original authors first. Print instructions PETG worked really well for me. PLA should also be fine, just be careful to not stress the hooks too much during installation Print with support for the pegs! They might need some cleanup and light sanding afterwards to snap into the small holes Use a maximum of 0.2mm line height for the pegs For larger parts use the variable/adaptive layer height feature of your slicer. Using cura with 0.2mm layer height and 0.04 maximum variantion worked well on my printer
