Description
I made some changes to the Pit Shelf by FlyingBrick3D: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2142235-rc-car-pit-shelf-organizer?from=search#profileId-2320590 I absolutely loved his idea of the modular pit shelf, but there were some things I thought could be better: It is easier to assemble (you only have to slide the two shelves in one side and then attach the other side as opposed to the original where you had to keep 5 pieces in place while attaching the other side piece) The rear bracing is now a big panel with extra peg holes The rear slides and clicks in place with supports all along the sides so there's little to no side to side wobble anymore The shelves slide towards the front, so when you attach the rear they can't come undone accidentally The shelves have a ridge so they don't sag with weight on them I made cutouts in the shelves so the row of pegs along the side of the shelves are still usable The tradeoff is that it's a little bulkier when disassembled now and you need 8 countersunk M2 screws (min. 10mm long). Also takes more time and filament to print.
