PolyCup – 3D Printable Airsoft Protective Cup PolyCup is a 3D-printable athletic cup designed for airsoft protection. The faceted outer shell increases rigidity and spreads impacts across multiple surfaces instead of concentrating force at the center. The cup uses a deep protective profile to increase the distance between impacts and the body. This allows the shell to flex slightly and distribute force before it reaches the wearer. A wide perimeter lip creates a 360° seal, allowing the cup to sit comfortably against the body without requiring a jockstrap or compression shorts. Vent holes improve airflow and reduce heat buildup. Option 1 Place the cup against the groin and put on snug underwear to hold it in place. Option 2 Wear snug underwear, place the cup over the groin, then wear another pair of snug underwear over it. Because of the deeper design, it may not fit inside some compression-short cup pockets. Size Scaling (Outer Width) Teen: 75 mm Adult: 85 mm XL: 95 mm Use uniform scaling so all dimensions adjust automatically. ⚠ Scaling smaller than teen size reduces strength, because wall thickness becomes thinner.
