Description
This is the first ever printable silica gel drying solution that uses the popular Polymaker PolyDryer. Features: This container is based on the Silica-Gel-box (one of my previous designs). The top part of the walls is made of the fast printing, impact resistant and air permeable mesh design with two wall lines. All the holes have a maximum diameter of 1.5mm which even keeps most broken beads inside. One box can hold up to 200g of silica gel and you even can stack multiple boxes on top of each other The lid snaps in place so no beads can escape. Instruktion: Use some sort of heat-resistant filament like PETG or ABS to print all the parts. Put the adapter over the rear ventilation slot of the PolyDryer and place your boxes on top of the adapter. The adapter should sit tightly on the PolyDryer and the boxes will also stay in place due to their stackable design. Choose the highest setting on the PolyDryer. One box with 200g should be dry in about 3-6 hours (depending on humidity and temperature of the surrounding). If you dry several boxes at the same time, it will take longer. After the PolyDryer finished its job, you should remove the silica gel immediately or else they will begin to absorb moisture again after they cool down.
