Description
I wanted another shelf in my bathroom, but the command strips I bought to glue my printed shelf to the tile didn't withstand the weight and humidity. So I took to my power socket and remodeled the frame surrounding them, using that as a mounting mechanism. The Frame is designed to hold a version of @TorusKnot 's “Voronoi Shower Shelf”. I scaled the “box” down to 88% to have it fit on my printer and cut the basket at z=3.45mm to get a flat shelf. I then added some holes for my hairbrush and razor to sit vertically. The attachment structure was generatively designed in Fusion360 and is (at least in the ideal simulation) able to withstand 40N (~4kg or ~9lbs). It's got space for the handles and leaves access to the power plug. I printed mine with a lot of perimeters and support, oriented upside down. It took ~17h. Hope it's useful for someone!
AI Analysis: This is a wall-mounted power socket shelf designed to hold electrical outlets securely. It features a unique, branching structure that provides additional space for multiple plugs while maintaining a clean and organized appearance. The shelf is made from a lightweight material and is specifically intended for use in bathrooms or other areas with electrical outlets.
