Description
Problems with other 3D printed bearings like “no cage” or “too loose”? Just print these, they are easy to print and after a few test prints, you have a good fit. Dimensions Outer Diameter: 22 mm Inner Diameter: 8 mm Height: 7 mm Tolerances To achieve higher tolerances, I used the same techniques as Matvey Kukuy in his Ultimate 608 Bearing with Calibration Kit V2 . Basically you have to optimize two variables, in this case: Horizontal Tolerances (HT) Vertical Tolerances (VT) The values can be found in the Filename (608-BEARING-HT-VT). For the optimization, a binary search algorithm can be used. Please refer for this to Matveys Kit , I got it from his site, so I don't want to take the praise for it. If the calculation is too tiresome for you, I (and ChatGPT ;) ) wrote a graphical program for this specific use case. The executable and source code can be found on GitHub . Print Instructions Print one at a time (otherwise smaller defects might form and increase tolerances) I printed mine with 0.1 mm layer height, higher might also work If you want other sizes, just request them, I have an easy creation workflow now.
