Description
I DM for a group of players new to TTRPGs and saw that they tend to need help finding the right die to roll or end up using the wrong ones for their actions. My goal for this case was to reinforce the differences between the dice and to convey them to the player in multiple ways: Direct labeling with the guide insert. Illustration of the associated 3D shape of each die. Sequential ordering from smallest to largest. Dedicated slots for each die using its 2D profile cutouts. The inserts have a 0.1 mm tolerance. Consider using double sided tape or glue if the inserts are sliding out. The dual color Guide Insert was printed by pausing at layer height 3 using the post processing script in Cura. Update: Added revisions with wider tolerances and samples of the hinges that can be used to determine which model would fit your printer before printing the entire case. Update 2: Revised the Dice Guide Insert to increase text size and correct the label of the last die to D% (D10 percentile).
