Description
Set myself a half day challenge to half the print time of the RC2 face shield. Prototype revision for high-speed printing 1 hour 30 minutes for 1, could be faster. We are currently producing sets for food delivery volunteers for the elderly here in Portsmouth UK. Revision 1 As requested, a stack of 6 is ready for download • No extra supports needed includes snap off supports • Floating elastic anchor • 0.25mm layer height only - otherwise it doesn't work • Sensitive to temperature drafts High-Speed Revision The revision was built from the ground up, using the original RC2 specification, albeit with some efficiency changes. • 10mm total height • Optimised to print in 1 hour 30 minutes from the i3 MK3S with a 4mm brim (Some print settings change may be needed) or 2 units in 2 hours 55 minutes. • 3 versions: Fastest, With Vents, and Shrouded Can go faster. Comment your print times =) Print instructions Recommended Print Setting • 75mm/s Perimeters • 45mm/s External Perimeters • 3 Perimeter • 0.25 Layer Height • 4mm brim for added stickiness • 30% Infill
