Description
Magnets resized to 10 x 3 mm and screw holes enlarged to take M3 threaded inserts (4 mm diameter). I also removed the oddly shaped holes on the corner pieces and, in their place, added a further magnet. It was my aim to make the magnetic connection feel much more snug and secure than it did on the first iteration. It's safe to say that this was achieved. I then added a seal around the edge of the finished frame, so as to trap as much heat as possible in the chamber for cases when this is desirable. This also nicely cushions the top cover when it is lowered back in position. I removed the sliding mechanism for opening and closing the air vent. I already had printed a handle for this purpose, which I prefer. Accordingly, the ‘front’ piece has been altered to be solid throughout.
