Description
Remixed Prusa Enclosure parts for 2mm plexiglass It's hard to find 3mm plexi near where I live, so I remixed necessary parts for 2mm plexiglass (which is way cheaper too) Fitment is quite tight, my caliber measured 1.94mm. This might also be just my printers setting (printed on 0.2mm SPEED presets), all files have gap set to 2mm (original also has exactly 3mm gap) Had to separate all files for remodeling, you can download only parts you need, or all at once. There is two versions for this: 1. Normal hinges 2. Pinned removable hinges 1. To print normal parts, use files from folder All parts (merged) 2. To print with removable hinges, use files from folder With removable hinges (replaces top and bottom parts) AND door_Merged_2mm from All Parts (Merged) I uploaded separate files in case somebody needs to replace one broken part. Spool holder and other accessory parts can be found from original post! Copied from original: Follow the Mikolas Zuza's tutorial article on: https://www.prusaprinters.org/cheap-simple-3d-printer-enclosure/ Plexiglass dimensions: 3pcs: 440 x 440 mm, thickness 2mm 2pcs: 220 x 440 mm, thickness 2mm Updates 25.2. Updated bolts on merged files (stl and gcode), mirrored hinges needed mirrored bolts, those are now mirrored. When printing separately, you need 4 normal and 4 mirrored bolts, 2 normal and 2 mirrored hinges. Added that to STL files' comment section
AI Analysis: These are plastic components for a Prusa 2mm plexiglass enclosure, designed to fit together to form a protective housing for the printer. The parts are bright orange and feature precise cutouts and mounting points for secure assembly. They are likely used to hold the enclosure together and provide structural support for the printer's internal components.
