Description

Wanted to use the Cable Chain and Z Support together so redesigned and modified some of the Parts. I also had some clearance problems with the X-Axis motor and the original support solved it as well. Since I wanted to integrate the cable chain in the Z-Support. Print instructions For the cable chain u will have to download the original files and just replace the X-axis (In the original files its called Z-axis) cable clip mount on the X-axis motor with my parts. In order to mount the X-Axis mount, you will have to rotate the X-axis engine 45° counterclockwise, see the image of my printer (The CAD render shows the wrong engine orientation) You will need the same M5 screws and T nuts as for the original Z support. Printed the z-brace with supports for the cable clip arm. Print the x-axis-mounts with 3 perimeters. Printed in PETG. Please Note: Two configurations are available: "01-x-axis-mount-p1-v2" is to have the chain travel horizontal/X "01-x-axis-mount-p1-v3" + "Chain-90-Deg" is to have the chain travel vertical/Z Both cases are shown in the Images UPDATES: 7.12.2020 : Changed the travel Direction of the Chain From X -> Z to reduce the total footprint. To Upgrade to this you will need to print the "Chain-90-Deg" and "01-x-axis-mount-p1-v3". The Chain-90-Deg connects as the first clip to the Brace and the 01-x-axis-mount-p1-v3 replaces the old v2 version
