Description
Designed to be used with the LM2596 step down convertor. all bolt holes are m3. push in nuts in the bottom of the part cavity for the input power cables to the step down to enter from below to keep it as low profile as possible. opening for a female micro usb port to be glued to the opening closest to the prusa's micro usb port. part i used was https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32638800048.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.355d1802qDUhA0 very snug fit and will most likely require a a very small amount of sanding. will need to super glue the plastic frame to the enclosure as well as the port once its soldered. 13mms of space between the front and the rpi ports should be enough for a right angle or low profile micro usb terminal. for the lowest profile with a rpi zero heat sink, mount right angled male GPIO pins on the bottom of the rpi example: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000589668260.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.6f1b39e2BnsdLe&algo_pvid=b95f97c8-720a-46d5-a45c-78ce9c86d565&algo_exp_id=b95f97c8-720a-46d5-a45c-78ce9c86d565-0&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2210000004015496208%22%7D&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21AUD%216.73%214.38%21%21%21%21%21%4021031a5516677372898555421e9a7b%2110000004015496208%21sea&curPageLogUid=6yYWGIfL3gFi example heat sink: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004225962397.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.754c11c4Wx6u9L&algo_pvid=29a1a2b3-6d49-4483-b0b1-0cb23e37dd97&algo_exp_id=29a1a2b3-6d49-4483-b0b1-0cb23e37dd97-2&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000028444069101%22%7D&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21AUD%218.28%216.38%21%21%21%21%21%402101e9d316677373398125618ee3de%2112000028444069101%21sea&curPageLogUid=tgRPY7hTSvbK the lid can be downloaded from the original design but cut outs will need to be added for the protruding parts of the LM2596. I will upload the redesigned lid model if im bothered. Finally, if there are any useful upgrades to be made let me know and ill try to update/add new revisions. Alternatively, if youd like to edit this model yourself, https://www.tinkercad.com/things/izxManFAQ0n?sharecode=R7c0R5fbgOqrN9UKB-jV2xOGIophmdLDPeGocsXqADM
