Description
Remix of Alex Ward's MK3S+'s reverse bowden cover. I did not realize at first that the center post was not the same diameter as PTFE tubing, and was preventing me from threading my PC4-M10 fitting. I removed the center post similar to Barry's remix. To my knowledge, most people prefer the non-counterbored M10 fittings because the opening is the same size as the PTFE tubing, allowing it to pass all the way through with no gap. Although it allows the same thing, there is little point in buying the counterbore version since the counterbore is functionally useless in the context of 3D printing, and just ends up allowing extra wiggle room for the tubing, which manifests in such posts being added to people's designs. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media I did not use Barry's remix because the model shows a surface in the filament hole, and there is still an internal flange which I didn't want - just wanted a flat hole like Alex's MK3S post-less models, but he only uploaded post-less files for the non-plus cover. Printed with supports because the sensor cavity is a very tight fit. The Prusa models that come in the kit are printed upside down so the cavity ceiling has less thickness due to not overhanging.
