Description
I made an ESP32 camera mount and case for my MK4 and XL. I built an EnXLosure that makes mounting more difficult for the XL. I decided to do a magnetic mount that will clear the tool head when homing or printing, as well as fit inside the EnXLosure. There is a right and left side version depending on where you want to mount it. I used the left sides since that is closest to my power outlet. I ran the cable along the rail and filed a small groove in the EnXLosure top to allow the cable to fit through the back. You can print however many articulated arm pieces you want for your needs, but I printed my magnetic base, the camera case, and one “Gopro_Like_Joint_Straight_Middle.stl” from the articulated arm files . You do want to make certain the camera will not collide with the tool head, I aligned the base with the front of the EnXLosure top, and the field of view is adequate for my needs. You'll need 2, 20mm x 4mm Neodymium Disc Magnets like used for the EnXLosure lid. I'd recommend super gluing them in the base.
