Description
I was tired of the standard phone mounts; almost all of them sit on top of the controller, which puts extra stress on the tendons in my thumbs due to the added weight and distance. This becomes tiring and uncomfortable after a while. It's important to note that this mount is tall enough to prevent finger collisions when pressing buttons or using the joysticks. This mount solves that problem quite conveniently. It's printed in two parts and only requires adding a MagSafe-compatible magnet from a PopSocket or similar accessory. It can be assembled as a single piece or detached for more compact storage (that's up to you). The mount itself holds the controller quite well, but if you want to add extra security to prevent it from falling, it has a couple of hooks for attaching a rubber band. The printed parts should fit together securely without glue, but assembly is entirely up to you. If you have a MagSafe metal ring, it can be added to other devices (like the PS Vita in the example photo) that can connect to the PS4 controller. Note that the piece attaches to the slot below the touchpad, so the touchpad button cannot be pressed. Please check controller compatibility (given the variety of PS4 controller versions) to ensure the piece fits. Printed on PET-G
