Description
This is a wall-mounted bracket designed to hold 1.5" PVC pipe. The design uses a snug, slightly compliant fit so the pipe can press into place and stay secure without fasteners or clips. The bracket features integrated flex grip fins in the upper portion of the bore, allowing slightly oversized PVC to snap in while maintaining a firm hold. The lower portion of the bore is solid, so the pipe rests on a rigid surface rather than deforming flexible features over time. Guide Feature: The bracket includes a subtle conical taper at the pipe entry that acts as a lead-in guide. This taper helps align the PVC pipe and gradually engages the flexible grip fins, reducing insertion force. As the pipe is pressed in, the fins flex outward smoothly and then grip the pipe securely in place. Left / Right Variants: Because the guide is directional, there are two versions of the model: Left-entry version → pipe inserts from the left Right-entry version → pipe inserts from the right Make sure you install the bracket so the tapered opening faces the direction you plan to insert the pipe from. Brackets should be spaced ~5' apart to create a clean rod storage system. I am using the these brackets + the PVC PIpes to store my fly fishing rods. They work pretty darn well, but keep in mind that they are quite snug.
