Description
Essentially, I am sharing a model that works specifically for me. It will only be useful to you if you want to create your own custom mask and are willing to work in Blender for that. The goal is to save you from having to waste a lot of plastic or resin if you don’t have a 3D scanner to create a proper fit profile for the headset itself. In short, you download this thing. You scan yourself using software for iPhone with Face ID. You import your face model into Blender, create a “cylinder” whose center follows the surface of your face and fully traces the area of contact between your face and the mask, and then use a Boolean operation to cut your face shape out of that cylinder. Basically, use your imagination. I understand this will only be useful for a very limited group of people, but I spent a long time searching for and then manually creating this model, so I don’t want to keep it to myself anymore. I’ve attached what I ultimately use myself, as well as a more raw draft version (I recommend applying a subdivision surface modifier to it).
