Description
I broke several stock shrouds replacing and cleaning the fans, then i found the Quieter Ender 3 V2 Fan Shroud by iRndmz, i liked it and broke several of those replacing and cleaning the fans. Given that my fine motor control won't probably get better over time i decided to clumsy-proof the model. I replaced all the original screws (5) with longer M3 screws (slightly too long actually but i had those lying around) and added notches to fit nuts so that overtightening won't cause layer detachment anymore. On the downside the model now needs to be printed with supports and is uglier than the original. Two M3x12 should be long enough to grip for the two upper screws (carriage mount and upper material fan) while three M3x20 should be enough for the other three screws (heatsink fan and lower material fan), but there is plenty of room for longer ones
