Description

You want options? We got them! The configurations here support the official air cooler, the Pimoroni NVME, and provide options for more vents and access to GPIO. Take a look! The case is secured through metal or printed standoffs, for a more durable design, as snap fit has an expiration date. How to find your combination: The bottom part you need is in one of two folders, depending on whether you have an NVME or not. The correct top part will be in one of four folders, depending on your combination of NVME and Air Cooler. Hardware needed: 4x M2.5 6mm BHCS (8x for NVME case) 4x M2.5 20+6mm Stand-offs 4x M2.5 hex nuts (None for NVME case or the printed standoffs) Printed standoffs are available if metal ones are not easy to source. Use 8 self-tapping screws with these, no bolts or hex nuts needed. I printed my case with ABS but PLA or PETG are also just fine, the air around the Pi doesn't get significantly warm. Happy printing, don't forget to like and post makes! If you like my designs, want to help me design for new hardware or just fuel my coffee addiction you can support me here: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/therealtiramisu UPDATE 5 Feb 2024: I added options for a Pimoroni NVME base. After several iterations this sadly needs a new top. pi5_case_vented_top_NVME.stl pi5_case_bottom_NVME.stl --------------- UPDATE 19 Nov 2023: As requested, I added some plastic standoffs to be used with self tapping screws. Print 4 and use with already available range of case halves. pi5_case_plastic_standoff.stl --------------- UPDATE 9 Nov 2023: Added versions of the top cover with vents, for both the GPIO and non-GPIO model. If you already printed the case you only need to print the top. Vents definitely not needed for GPIO version. pi5_case_vented_top_noGPIO.stl pi5_case_vented_top_.stl --------------- UPDATE 8 Nov 2023: Added an option with no access to GPIO pins pi5_case_top_nogpio.stl pi5_case_bottom_nogpio.stl --------------- UPDATE 31 Oct 2023: Moved intake air tunnel to better match the fan's position. Only pi5_case_top.stl changed. ---------------
