Description
My recent project involved developing an audio streamer with Snapcast using the Raspberry Pi 5 and the Louder Raspberry Hat Plus . The case is designed specifically for the Snapclient. It requires multiple openings at different heights, so the case has three sections—bottom, middle, and top—to fit the components neatly. The reference model was too tight for the Pi and the hat, so I increased the clearance to make assembly easier. For improved component stability, the case includes standoffs between the Pi and the hat. Four M3 hex-head screws with a head height of 3 mm were used to attach the standoffs. Similar to the original model, the parts are snap-fit. Assembly steps: Attach the pi5 (with the official cooler if necessary) to the bottom (remove the SD card before installing). Attach the middle section on the bottom (snap-fit). Attach the standoffs under the hat with M3 hex head screws with a head height of 3mm. Attach the hat on the pi5. Attach the top cover on top of the middle section (snap-fit). Attach speaker cables
