Description
I printed everything from the original post and tried to build the boat. In general it works well only some parts like the Rudder and the engine makes me some trouble. So I ordered several other parts instead of the listed ones. Following a list of adaptions and also additional/modified parts. Thanks for your likes ;-) 1. Rudder I ordered the Krick Rudergarnitur groß 36x50 mm ( Artikel-Nr.: ro1481) The shaft needs to be cutted off and the hole enhanced. A seal is included. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 2. Motor / Engine I tried the 130 Motor, listed in the post but it blown up after 5 Minutes :-( The 540 Motor worked longer but the rotation speed is in my opinion way to high and the printed gears are very loud and i don't trust them at all! My solution is also from Krick, I bought the Max Power 400 Electric Motor (Artikel-Nr.: 42116) and the this universal Electric Motors interference set (Artikel-Nr.: 42128) The technical data fits very well and no further transmission is needed: Shaft diameter 2,3 mm Rated voltage 7.2 V @ 7500 rpm Operating voltage 3.6-12 V Speed range 3,000-12,000 rpm 3. Motor mount Unfortunately the provided mounts does not fit the Max Power 400 Electric Motor , so it need to be adapted. The .stl file named “Krick400_adapter.stl” can be found in the download section of this entry. The used screws are M2.5 x 8 mm, countersunk bolt. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 4. Driveshaft I tried the driveshaft from the 130 Motor kit but the propeller without a thread is not the best solution I guess. Instead I used the Krick Stern Tube 110+Shaft M2x160 mm (Artikel-Nr.: ro1452 ). Needs to be cutted off and the hole needs to be drilled by 4mm. The diameter of the shaft is still 2mm and can be connected to the motor with Aeronaut Federkupplung (Artikel-Nr.: 7034/18). The motor mount has been rotated by 10° to fit the size. 5. Receiver / ESC mount for small box As remote control I use the DUMBORC DDF-350 RC 2,4G 10CH with X10FG . The receiver is very small and I like to have it mount somewhere so here is the mounting bracket for the small box from the original post. In addition the mount for the ESC, I use the Hobbywing QuicRun 1625 Brushed 25A . Print without support, orientation like in the picture below. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media ESC: quicrun 1625 mount schlepper.stl Receiver: Dumbro RC mount schlepper.stl 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 6. Flagpole The flagpole fits on the edge of the boat and needs to be glued on. I used the Krick 63453 Flagge Deutschland 55x83 mm (Artikel-Nr.: 63453). The flag is simply glued in the Flagpole, there is a slot. Flagpole.stl (for the mount is support needed, for the pole use Brim) 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 7.
