Description

This is a replacement rear shell set for Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. It adds an ergonomic grip making it much more comfortable to hold the switch in handheld mode. My goal was to design a grip that felt as close to OEM as possible and didn't increase the footprint of the Switch. The grip extends about 1mm past the height of the triggers so the switch sits flat on the table without resting on the triggers. Since it is a rear shell replacement it is sturdy and feels like it's part of the Joy-Con. If you don't have access to a 3D printer or one that can print these parts, I have them available on my Etsy Shop . Printing Instructions PLA or PETG 0.15mm layer height 5 Perimeters (optional: 2 is fine, I just like the weight of 5) 0% infill Minimum perimeter width: 65% (optional: the will result in a smoother surface since the seam on the trigger area will no longer be generated) 0.4mm nozzle Supports only in areas highlighted in purple I prefer to print without a brim since it can cause a rough uncomfortable edge. You will need good bed adhesion though. If you need a brim to keep the part stuck down, it's not the end of the world. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Installation I've included PDF Installation instructions in the files section. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media
