Description
Rear parts of the top case with the possibility of installing hinges and a flat lid handle. Plus a drawing indicating the locations and dimensions of the holes for attaching the hinges to the lid. The hinges used are the same as those for the door. In principle, you can use the same screws for the hinges as for the door, but it's better to take slightly shorter ones with a countersunk head (i used 2.9*9.5 countersunk), otherwise the screw heads will interfere with parts of the casing. The hinges can be attached to the body with the same screws as those used for the cover, but the hole is also designed for screws that held the Z-axis caps in the packaged printer (2.9*25). Also, it is better not to screw the hinges tightly so that they can move slightly back and forth when opening and closing the lid. Flat handle - a remix of the original, but without the embossed FlashForge emblem, so you can stick something on it or, conversely, emboss it in the slicer. All printed in PETG. *** Translated from Russian with the help of AI.
