Description

This is an extension for the model “Creality K1 – HEPA + Active Carbon filter housing” . It enables the use of refillable activated carbon pellets as the carbon filter media. How to print (Example shown for OrcaSlicer, other slicers work similarly) STEP 1 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Example shown for bottom.stl (same steps apply to top.stl ) Place the model on the build plate Set the model center coordinates using world coordinates (important!) Note the X and Y values Example: X: 60.0, Y: 170.0 STEP 2 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Right-click the model From the context menu: Add Modifier → Disc Set the modifier cylinder diameter: bottom.stl : max 60 mm top.stl : max 66 mm STEP 3 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Set the modifier cylinder absolute position in world coordinates Use the same X and Y values from STEP 1 Make sure the modifier cylinder fully intersects the model along the Z axis STEP 4 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media For the modifier cylinder, set: Wall loops = 0 Top shell layers = 0 Bottom shell layers = 0 Configure infill settings according to your own preference and aesthetic judgment Optional You can add a support blocker for the thread on bottom.stl (e.g. a 71 mm cylinder positioned using world coordinates). Print settings used Wall loops : 5 (enough to fully fill the model) Layer height : 0.2 mm Material : any filament works, but PETG or higher temperature-resistant materials are recommended Notes Original filters have a diameter of approximately 72 mm This model is intentionally made slightly looser at 71 mm You can adjust the scale to fit your preference For better dust capture, it is recommended to glue a fine mesh onto the filter using cyanoacrylate (CA) glue
