Description
When I manually wound the filament using the original design the handle kept slipping off after several turns. There was no way to keep it secure. I took the original handle and added a spindle that allows you to remove the handle while using a drill, and when not using the drill the handle locks in place on the spindle and doesn't fall off. To use a drill to turn the spindle, just add the “Hexagonal Adapter for Electric Screwdriver.stl” found in the original design to the end of my spindle. You can remove the handle, or leave it in place. I find it easier if I just remove the handle. The only part I replaced from the original design was the “Arm with Hexagonal Adapter.stl”. You will continue to use all other parts from the original design in the build. You will have replace the M3 8mm screw with an M3 30mm, or greater in length. Use the same print parameters you used in the original design. I printed mine in PLA, and it seems to be holding up just fine. Thanks to “Storm Design @Damian27” for the original design.
