Description
I really liked the RepRack Stabilizing End Caps by K2_Kevin. But it is sized for thin-wall ½" conduit (just like the Rep Rack itself). Unfortunately, they only had heavy-wall at the store. Also, I'm dumb, and didn't know this was a thing. Didn't figure it out until I had bought, cut, and painted the conduit. <sigh> I was able to drill out the Rep Rack brackets with a 7/8" step bit. (I assume this will work, I guess we will see!) But the end caps wouldn't fit. So I remodeled it in Fusion and here ya go. If you're a dummy like me and can't read labels in the store - this might help you out! Oh… how do you know if your conduit is heavy-walled? The diameter of heavy-wall conduit is 0.819" (or 20.8mm). If it's smaller, use K2_Kevin's design. K2_Kevin says it doesn't need supports. But I did use tree supports painted on the the underside of the socket.
